1. FOOD TO EAT BEFORE THE INTERVIEW
First of all, do not skip your meal on the big day. Eat light food to remain energetic, avoid heavy food, as it may make you sleepy. Include brain food in your diet not only on interview day but during your preparation as well.
Example of brain food for students-
Fresh fruit juice, whole soaked grains, chapati, and veggies (PS- Do not eat more chapati), soaked dry fruits, especially almonds, berries, citrus foods (oranges,) eggs, etc.
2. ATTIRE FOR THE INTERVIEW
MALE- Formal black pants, with a white shirt and a blazer. Accompanied with Formal black shoes.
FEMALE- Formal white saree with a black blazer. Accompanied with Formal black belly.
3. PROCESS TO FOLLOW BEFORE THE INTERVIEW
- Always reach before the prescribed time.
- Do not gossip with your companion.
- Do not ask questions that were asked to your mates. (Remember, the board will not repeat the questions; rather, asking questions will demotivate you).
4. POSTURE DURING INTERVIEW
- Seek permission before entering the room
- Nod and greet board members by saying good morning or noon (as the case may be).
- Seat straight.
- Keep your spine and neck straight.
- Your hands-on the thighs.
- Make eye contact with board members.
- Do not make hand movements while answering. (ps – you are not explaining them).
- Don’t try to show off.
5. HOW TO ANSWER A QUESTION –
- Listen to the question carefully.
- Answer every question to the point only.
- Do not include unnecessary things in your answer.
- The question must be answered in the language of the question.
- Keep eye contact with every member, while answering.
6. WHAT IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER
Just Say sorry, politely, don’t try to confuse the board. Or don’t give a wrong answer.
7 WHICH TYPE OF QUESTIONS ARE ASKED IN THE CIVIL JUDGE INTERVIEW
To start the interview, they will ask some questions related to your personal life like your name family details, some questions about your city, followed by some latest or trending legal topics, followed by legal questions. like
- What will you do if you have a case of your family member in your court ?
- Meanings of various writs ?
- Is evidence procedural law or substantive ?
- How many times a cheque can be negotiated ?
8. HOW TO ANSWER OPINION-BASED QUESTIONS?
- They are analyzing your personality, answering every question optimistically to be a positive show.
- Don’t try to criticize the government or governmental policies; yes, you can do constructive criticism followed by proper suggestions.
- Remember, they are trying to judge you as a judge. Will you be able to serve the duties and responsibilities of a judge, no not?
- So don’t fake your attitude, just be natural
- Do not try to be overconfident, over-excited (when you know the answer very well), or sad, depressed (when you don’t know the answer)
9. WHAT TO DO WHEN THEY TRY TO CONFUSE YOU ?
Take your time to memorize (even if you know the correct answer)
Be confident with your answer, even if they are confusing you. But reply to them very politely. Never try to argue,
10. ETIQUETTE TO FOLLOW AFTER INTERVIEW
Leave the room gently by saying thank you, stay confident.
