Pater est quem nuptioe demonstrat

Meaning– The father is the one whom the weddings show.

Object– No child should feel the pain being fatherless.

General Presumption– The child born after the marriage is the legitimate. And the husband of his mother considered as his father, unless some contrary are proved. 

Origin– Latin
