The term curfew is not defined in the law anywhere. In general, the term curfew represents a situation where the district magistrate /collector has imposed the rules of section 144 of crpc adding rules to restrict the supply of essential services as well. During the period of curfew, the authorities may provide some timely relief for the essential services.

1. No person can move out without permission.
2. Only emergency services like hospital, fire brigade etc will be allowed.
3. Proper legal action to be taken against the person who violate rules?
